AUTOTREAT – 25 LTR
NALFLEET™ AUTOTREAT™ is a multifunctional, liquid boiler water treatment product, formulated with alkaline compounds, scale inhibitor, dispersant, and volatile amines for the protection of the feed, boiler and condensate systems.
Description
NALFLEET Autotreat is an advanced liquid boiler water treatment designed to provide complete protection for marine boiler systems. By combining traditional phosphate conditioning with modern polymer technology, Autotreat keeps precipitated solids soft, non-adherent and easy to remove through blowdown.
This product delivers reliable scale control, dispersant action and condensate corrosion protection in a single treatment, making it ideal for vessels seeking a simplified and efficient boiler maintenance program.
Autotreat is suitable for all auxiliary boilers operating up to 30 bar, and is formulated for use with good-quality feedwater and a dedicated oxygen scavenger such as NALFLEET Oxygen Scavenger Plus.

Directions for Use
General Application
NALFLEET™ Autotreat must always be used alongside an oxygen scavenger. Continuous dosing is preferred for stable treatment control.
Dosing Method
-
Dose continuously via automatic dosing unit where possible
-
Alternatively, feed into the feed line using a bypass pot feeder
-
For untreated systems, raise P-Alkalinity to approx. 200 ppm
Initial Dosage
2.4 litres per ton of boiler water capacity to reach ~200 ppm P-Alkalinity.
P-Alkalinity Adjustment Guide
| P-Alkalinity (ppm) | Dose (L/ton) |
|---|---|
| 0 | 2.4 |
| 50 | 1.8 |
| 100 | 1.2 |
| 150 | 0.6 |
| 200 | 0 |
| 250 | 0 |
| 300 | 0 |
| 350 | Blowdown |
Control Guidelines
-
P-Alkalinity: 150–300 ppm as CaCO₃
-
Chlorides: max 200 ppm
-
Condensate pH: 8.3–9.0
Sampling & Testing
-
Sample daily, always from the same point after blowdown
-
Cool and test immediately
-
Log results and follow the recommended test procedures
Maintaining correct treatment levels is essential for long-term boiler protection.
