Directions for Use

Dosing and Control

• For sea water cooling systems, dose 0.6 liters of Bioguard Plus per 100 tons of seawater circulating through the system.

• The dosage rate depends on the seawater flow and fouling conditions.

• Dosing should be continuous when the system is in operation to ensure optimal protection.

Box Coolers and Ballast Tanks

• For ballast tanks, dose Bioguard Plus at 1.0–1.5 liters per ton of seawater.

• For sea chests and heat exchangers, use the same dosage and circulate for at least 6 hours.

• After treatment, flush the system with seawater for several minutes.

Dosing Method

• Bioguard Plus should be applied using a chemical dosing pump.

• The product can also be fed manually into the seawater suction box if dosing equipment is not available.

• Always mix with seawater before adding to the system.

⚠️ Important Note

NALFLEET Bioguard Plus must not be mixed with Bioguard™ or Antifoulant 9-311, as these products are incompatible.
Ensure that tanks and dosing lines are flushed thoroughly with fresh water before switching to Bioguard Plus.

• Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area.

• Keep container tightly closed.

• Protect from freezing and direct sunlight.
