Unitor Commissioning Cleaner

Unitor Commissioning Cleaner is a modern, multifunctional cleaning solution designed for new boiler and cooling systems. It removes scale, rust, oil and grease in one operation. Because the product is water-based, biodegradable and low-foaming, it is safe and easy to handle on board newbuild vessels. In addition, it provides temporary corrosion protection during commissioning.

Directions for Use

Unitor Commissioning Cleaner is circulated through the system using an external pump. Before starting, drain the system if required. In addition, inspect accessible areas to understand the level of contamination.

Dosage

A concentration of 5–10% is recommended, depending on the level of fouling.

Step-by-Step Procedure

1. Drain the system if necessary.

2. Inspect the system to determine contamination levels.

3. Fill the system with fresh water.

4. Add 5–10% Commissioning Cleaner™.

5. Circulate the solution for 5–8 hours at the highest safe temperature.

6. Drain the system completely.

7. Flush with fresh water until the discharge runs clear.

8. Inspect the system once more.

9. If needed, repeat the cleaning cycle.

10. Refill with distilled or high-quality fresh water.

11. Dose the required cooling or boiler water treatment.

12. Test the system regularly to maintain correct chemical levels.
