DEFOAMER CONCENTR. 25 LTR

Unitor™ Defoamer Concentrate™ is a non-silicone based water dispersible, liquid defoamer. It controls foaming in sewage and waste water systems, and it is stable in alkaline conditions.

Description

Unitor Defoamer Concentrate – High-Performance Foam Control for Marine & Industrial Systems

Unitor Defoamer Concentrate is a powerful non-silicone antifoaming agent designed to break down and prevent foam in water-based systems. It is widely used in marine vacuum toilet systems, sewage treatment units, wastewater handling equipment, and membrane bioreactor (MBR) installations.

This highly efficient concentrate performs exceptionally well in both alkaline and atmospheric or pressurised waste systems, ensuring stable and reliable operation even under heavy load. Because it contains no silicone, it avoids common issues such as surface interference, membrane coating, or downstream contamination.

Key Features

  • Non-silicone formula suitable for sensitive systems

  • Stable and effective under alkaline conditions

  • Performs in atmospheric, pressurised, and continuous-flow waste equipment

  • Approved for use in membrane bioreactor systems (ZENON Environmental Inc.)

Benefits

  • Ideal for sewage and wastewater treatment systems

  • Rapid foam breakdown and long-lasting foam control

  • Helps maintain system efficiency and prevent operational issues

  • Safe and compatible with most marine and industrial waste installations

Typical Applications

  • Marine vacuum toilet systems

  • Sewage treatment plants (STP)

  • Greywater and blackwater tanks

  • Membrane bioreactor (MBR) systems

  • Waste collection and vacuum ejector tanks

Dosage & Use

The required dosage depends on foam origin and system load, and should be adjusted based on on-site testing.

Typical dosage: 10–30 ml per ton
For sewage applications: premix 1 part Defoamer Concentrate with 5 parts freshwater, then pump into the EVAC ejector tank approximately 30 minutes before peak load.
