Unitor DieselPower Biocontrol – Effective Microbial Control for Marine Fuel

Unitor DieselPower Biocontrol is a highly effective biocide designed to protect marine diesel and gas oil from microbial contamination. In fuel storage tanks, bacteria and fungi can cause corrosion, clogged filters and nozzles, and degraded fuel quality. This product eliminates microorganisms throughout the system, ensuring stable, safe, and trouble-free operation.

Directions for Use

Marine Diesel Oil & Gas Oil

DieselPower Biocontrol can be dosed directly into the fuel tank and disperses automatically.

Recommended Dosage

• Preventive treatment:
  – 0.20 L/ton continuously, or
  – 0.6 L/ton every 2 months

• Decontamination:
  – 0.8 L/ton

• Shock dosing (visible biomass / filter blockage):
  – 3 L/ton
  – Minimum treatment time: 24 hours

Best practices for optimal mixing

• Circulate fuel between tanks

• Add when tank is 1/3 full and continue filling

• Pre-dilute in diesel for small systems
