Unitor DieselPower Enhancer – Fuel Lubricity & Stability Additive

Unitor DieselPower Enhancer is a high-performance fuel additive designed to improve lubricity, maintain colour and stability, and reduce the formation of organic sludge in marine distillate fuels. The formula also inhibits corrosion and helps disperse accumulated deposits before they cause operational problems.

Because the additive reduces filter clogging, injector sticking and corrosion inside bunkers and fuel lines, it improves overall system reliability and fuel efficiency.

Directions for Use

You may apply DieselPower Enhancer directly to bunkers or storage tanks. However, you achieve the best mixing when you apply it to feed lines during filling.

The product is compatible with most common construction materials, including copper, aluminium, brass, mild steel, stainless steel 304/316, PTFE, Buna-N, polypropylene and polyurethane.
Do not use it with rubber, neoprene, PVC Hypalon, Viton or EPDM.

Usage Recommendations

1. Lubricity Improver & Stabiliser

For full lubricity protection, add 1 litre of DieselPower Enhancer per 4 tonnes of fuel.

2. Colour Stabilisation

Typical dosage ranges from 5 to 35 mg/l, depending on fuel quality. Laboratory testing can determine the optimal level.

3. Sludge Inhibition & Dispersion

Use 40–80 mg/l to prevent sludge formation, disperse existing sludge and reduce filter plugging.

If contamination is heavy:

• Apply 1–2 litres per 5,000 litres of fuel.

• For the next bunkers, reduce to 1–2 litres per 10,000 litres.

• For maintenance dosing, use 0.4–0.8 litres per 10,000 litres.

Important: If the tank already contains fuel, dose the existing fuel at the same ratio.

Note: If microbial contamination is suspected, test with Unitor Bacteria Test Kit. If contamination is confirmed, treat the fuel with DieselPower Biocontrol
