Unitor FuelPower Demulsifier is a concentrated fuel oil treatment designed to rapidly break water-in-oil emulsions in all grades of fuel.
It assists water removal in settling tanks and fuel centrifuges, improves separator efficiency and helps reduce sludge formation in tanks and fuel lines.
Description
Unitor FuelPower Demulsifier is a fuel treatment developed to separate water from fuel by reducing the surface tension between the water and oil phases.
The product assists water removal in settling tanks and fuel centrifuges and remains effective in the fuel after the separated water has been removed.
FuelPower Demulsifier also contains dispersants that help combat existing sludge while keeping heavy fuel particles in suspension. This helps prevent new sludge deposits from forming in tanks and fuel lines.
Improved fuel condition can help reduce fuel filter blockage and maintenance requirements. The treatment also improves centrifugal separation of catalyst fines, helping reduce abrasive damage in the fuel system.

Directions for Use
FuelPower Demulsifier should be dosed into the bunker tank before or during bunkering, allowing the product to mix thoroughly with the fuel.
When a fuel analysis is available, dosage should be based on the water content:
