Description

Nalfleet Potable Water Stabiliser (25 kg) is a specialised powder treatment designed to prevent red water, scale and corrosion in both potable and technical water systems. By stabilising minerals and forming a protective film on metal surfaces, the product keeps water systems clean and reliable. In addition, it performs well in both cold and hot water systems up to 60°C, making it a flexible solution for many vessel types.

Because the product is fully approved under NSF/ANSI/CAN Standard 60, it is completely safe to use in drinking water systems. Furthermore, it can be used as feedwater for boilers and engine cooling systems without restrictions. This makes it a practical all-in-one stabiliser for marine and offshore operations.

Directions for Use

Before dosing, Nalfleet Potable Water Stabiliser must be dissolved in freshwater.
Therefore, always prepare a solution first.

1. Prepare a 5% solution

• Mix 50 g per litre of water

• Add powder slowly while stirring

• Stronger solutions (up to 20%) may be used for large systems

2. Recommended dosage

• 4–8 mg/L for normal treatment

• Maximum 9 mg/L for drinking water

3. Injection points

• Freshwater tank

• Hot water system

• Freshwater generator discharge

• FW pump suction manifold

When dosing into tanks, proper circulation must be ensured to distribute the treatment evenly.

4. Example dosing

To achieve 6 mg/L:

• Inject 0.12 litres of the 5% solution per 1 m³ of water
