NALFLEET Vaptreat – Evaporator Scale & Foam Control Treatment

NALFLEET Vaptreat is a high-performance evaporator treatment designed to keep heat-transfer surfaces free from scale, prevent foaming and maintain maximum freshwater production efficiency. The formula contains specialized polymers that suspend scale-forming salts, ensuring clean operation and reduced maintenance.

It is NSF-approved for potable water applications and safe for use across a wide range of evaporator materials.

Directions for Use

How It Works

The polymers in NALFLEET™ Vaptreat bind scale-forming salts in suspension, preventing deposition on heat-transfer surfaces. Suspended solids are removed through the evaporator brine discharge.

The built-in antifoam technology eliminates foaming and prevents carry-over, ensuring high-quality distillate.

For removing existing scale before starting treatment, use Descalex.

Dosing Method

Standard dosage: 15–30 ml per ton distillate produced

Example:
Evaporator capacity 25 tons/day → 25 × 30 ml = 750 ml/day

Flow Rate Setup
Mix the daily dose into 50 L water in the dosage tank.

Flow rate (ml/min):
50 L / 24 h = 35 ml/min

A metering pump may also be used.

Important Operational Notes

• Brine density must not exceed 1.038 g/cm³ to avoid rapid scaling.

• If brine density rises (example: 1.050 g/cm³), increase dosage to 60 ml/ton capacity.
