Description

Unitor Aquabreak PX is a highly effective water-based degreaser that removes dirt, oil and grease without using solvents or caustic cleaners. The advanced surfactant blend works quickly and provides strong cleaning performance. In addition, the product is NSF-approved, which means it is safe to use in food-handling areas such as galleys and food stations.

The cleaner is suitable for many daily tasks onboard. For example, it performs well on decks, in galleys and in engine rooms. It is also suitable for cargo tank cleaning and for washing textiles such as rugs, covers, mats and overalls. Furthermore, it cleans fiberglass surfaces efficiently without damaging the material.

Directions for Use

General Cleaning

You can apply Aquabreak PX™ by brush, hand spray or in an ultrasonic bath. First, test different concentrations on a small area to find the best effect.

• Light contamination: 1–5%

• Heavy contamination: up to 20%

For easier handling and correct dilution, we recommend using the UNITOR™ Mixing Station 4-14.
If you need better coverage on vertical surfaces, you can add Unitor™ Foam Agent™ to increase the contact time.

Tank Cleaning

Direct injection (tank washing machines)
Use 0.5–5 litres per ton of wash water (0.05–0.5%).

Recirculation method
Use 0.5–7 litres per ton of wash water (0.05–0.7%).

Spot cleaning
Apply neat or diluted up to 1:5.
Let the product work for 20–30 minutes, and keep the surface wet during the process.

Finally, rinse thoroughly. Aquabreak PX™ is suitable for most tank coatings, painted surfaces, light metals, plastics, lacquered materials and textiles.
